Peter Ulrich took over his father’s tax consultancy firm in 1985 and continued the firm until autumn 2019 with two business partners. On October 1, 2019, he joined Tappolet & Partner as a partner. His practices includes all areas of national and international tax law. He advises individuals and companies on all matters of tax law, especially in real estate capital gains tax law, inheritance and gift tax law as well as of tax criminal law. In addition, he has extensive experience in inheritance and matrimonial property law as well as in estate and succession planning and corporate law. He is a member of both, the Swiss and the Zurich Bar Association.

Peter Ulrich holds a Law Degree from the University of Zurich (lic.iur., 1975), where he also obtained a doctorate in law (Dr.iur., 1980). He was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 1977. From 1980 to 1985 he practiced at the Tax Office of the Canton of Zurich where he hold the position of a Legal Secretary as well as of Tax Commissioner. From 2001 to 2017 he was a substitute Member /Judge of the Tax Appeals Committee of the Canton of Zurich (since January 1, 2011, Tax Court of the Canton of Zurich).
